Pedram Soltani is a renowned Iranian businessman, known for his courageous views and efforts for modernization of Iranian business community. In 2011, he was elected as the Vice President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), the youngest to have ever managed to reach this position in the history of his country. In 2015, he was re-elected as First Vice President of ICCIMA. Soltani is founder and director of several national level business associations and corporations, such as, Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters’ Association, Oil Products Export Development Fund of Iran (OPEXFUND), Association of Iron Ore Producers and Exporters of Iran, Association of Paper and Cellulosic Products, amongst others. Soltani is Chairman of Persol Corporation, an Iranian conglomerate listed on as one of the Iranian Top 400 firms based on IMI evaluation, which is active in the sectors of Energy, Oil and Gas, Mining, Transportation, Agroindustry, Wood and Paper, to name a few.
Pedram Soltani has studied medicine at Tehran University (1995) and received his MBA (Merit) from Manchester Business School (2009).
Pedram was elected as a General Council member of World Chambers Federation for the 2017-2019 period.
Furthermore, as ICCIMA’s 1st Vice President, Soltani has been the impetus behind making SDGs one of the axes of the organization’s mandate. He has done this for the past 10 years, in his own personal capacity and also in his public role as a leading business figure of his country. In his own personal capacity, Soltani has also established “My Iran” Campaign, as a demonstration of the private sector’s will to play an active, constructive and critical role in the educational inclusiveness and justice of the country. The inaugural goal of this movement was the construction of 100 elementary schools in underdeveloped and underprivileged regions of the country.
